Before the next booking
Before the booked work begins.
Heavy vehicle repairs need the vehicle type, depot access and time it can be taken out of service agreed with the operator.
A reminder works best when the booking is already clear. Agree the time, place and practical arrangements for heavy vehicle mechanic work first, then let the reminder help both sides recognise the appointment and prepare for it.

Keep the booking and its automatic reminder in the same everyday workflow.
Reserve the heavy vehicle’s repair slot with its fleet contact so the truck is off the road and accessible at the depot.
The automatic reminder helps protect an agreed booking, but it cannot correct a wrong address or work that was never clearly agreed. Check those details when the appointment is first added.
