Tradesman booking form checklist

Use this checklist to turn online requests into jobs that can be quoted, routed, confirmed, reminded about, invoiced, and followed up without rebuilding the detail by hand.

Job fit

  • Trade and service type
  • Short fault or work description
  • Photos or video where useful
  • Urgency and preferred date
  • Known safety or site constraints

Route fit

  • Full postcode before confirming availability
  • Address and property type
  • Parking, access, gates, keys, or site notes
  • Arrival window and flexibility
  • Whether the customer must be present

Quote fit

  • Scope and rough size of the job
  • Measurements if they change the estimate
  • Make, model, age, or serial detail where relevant
  • Budget or decision deadline if appropriate
  • Whether a paid callout or deposit applies

Admin fit

  • Customer name, phone, and email
  • Consent for service messages
  • Invoice name or business details if needed
  • Cancellation, access, or callout acknowledgement
  • Notes to carry into reminders and the client record

Keep the form light

Make the first path short. Ask conditional questions only when the answer changes the quote, route, safety check, reminder, invoice, or payment decision.
