Mobile hairdresser booking form checklist

Use this before building or changing a booking form for mobile hair appointments.

Service details

• Service type, such as cut, blow dry, colour, styling, treatment, or consultation.
• Hair length, colour history, treatment history, and photos where they affect time or preparation.
• Whether the client has booked before and whether useful notes already exist.

Visit details

• Full appointment address and postcode.
• Parking, floor, lift, entrance, access, pets, and kit movement notes.
• Preferred day, time, or time window with enough travel buffer around it.

Policy and payment

• Deposit or booking fee amount where relevant.
• Cancellation notice period and what happens after late changes.
• Client confirmation that they have read the booking policy.

Reminders and records

• Best contact method for confirmation and reminders.
• Preparation instructions that should appear in the reminder.
• Payment, invoice, and follow up notes attached to the appointment record.

Final check

• Send one real week of enquiries through the form.
• If you still have to chase the same detail afterwards, add that field or move it into a follow up reminder.
